Each month during the academic year (September-May), the history department honors one undergraduate history major or minor as the Student of the Month. All previous winners are eligible for the department's Student of the Year award.

Robyn Gerry is a senior history major, English minor, classically trained violinist, and a piano player. She published a research paper, "Virtuosity in Heavy Metal," in ذكذكتسئµ University's student-curated literary magazine, PULSE. Robyn is a member of Sigma Tau Delta - the LU English honor society - and is interning as an archivist at the Tyrrell Historical Library. Her capstone paper will pursue her interest in the history of the Holocaust and Nazi Germany.
