Md Morshedul Alam is a Graduate Research Assistant at the department of Industrial Engineering and pursuing a Doctor of Engineering degree at ذكذكتسئµ University, Beaumont, TX. He graduated with a Masters of Engineering Science in Industrial Engineering in 2018. He involved in two research projects during his master's degree. The first project was titled “An Innovative Approach to Increasing Power Distribution Network Resilience Under Pre- and Post-Disaster Situation” which was supported by ذكذكتسئµ University Proposal Writing Research Enhancement Grant. He was also working on a preliminary survey study on the retention rate of students in
M. Burak Cankaya graduated at the department of Industrial Engineering from ذكذكتسئµ University, Beaumont, TX with a Doctor of Engineering degree in 2017. He was a Graduate Research Assistant during his D.E. study. His dissertation title is “Study on Chemical Vessels Scheduling Problem in a Port Using MIP, CP, and Priority Job Scheduling Heuristics. He has a Masters degree in Project Management from University of Houston. Dr. Cankaya is currently an Assistant Professor in Technology Management at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL. He worked as a Senior Operations Research Analyst at NetJets Inc., Columbus OH between 2017-2018. He previously worked at Halliburton and University of Houston. His research interests are in Operations Research and Data Science.
Ayberk Karakavuz was a Graduate Research Assistant at the department of Industrial Engineering, ذكذكتسئµ University, Beaumont, TX. He graduated with Masters of Engineering Science in Industrial Engineering degree in May 2018. His thesis topic was about “Risk Assessment of Commonly Transported Chemicals in Ports”. He has previously worked on the project called ““A Study on Innovative Port System: Utilization of Unmanned Aerial systems in Port Operations”.
Santhoshi X Kethineedi graduated with Masters of Engineering Science in Industrial Engineering degree in August 2018. Her thesis topic was "Evaluating Community Resilience to Hurricanes in Jefferson and Orange Counties, Texas".
