Dr. Philip Cole receives grant funding from National Science Institute

Dr. Philip Cole, Chair and Professor of Physics, has been awarded over $300,000 in grant funding to probe the structure of nucleons (protons and neutrons) and to engage undergraduate students in nuclear physics research.

The physics department at ذكذكتسئµ University provides opportunities for you to explore a career in physics or a physics-related profession. Physics majors are encourge to take part in research opportunities and have the option to join the Society of Physics Students ذكذكتسئµ Chapter affiliated with the American Physical Society.

Our Bachelor of Science degree plan places a strong emphasis on physics and mathematics. It can be tailored to meet the needs of students preparing for graduate school or employment in a variety of fields.
