In honor of Black History Month, ذكذكتسئµ University will celebrate with a series of events organized and sponsored by a variety of organizations, departments, clubs and student organizations that highlight and pay tribute to the achievements of African Americans and important events that contributed to U.S. history.
Black History Museum | Entire month of February Cherry Engineering Building, hosted by the National Society of Black Engineers For February, the National Society of Black Engineers will exhibit images and descriptions of "the Golden Triangle's" African American stem community leaders in the Cherry Engineering Building hallways.
Professional Clothing Drive | Entire month of February NSBE is sponsoring a professional clothing drive for February to provide students who cannot purchase clothing for job and internship interviews. Please drop off donations to the Division of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Relations lobby.
Beaumont Black History in Moving Pictures | Feb. 2, 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Dishman Art Museum Auditorium The Center of History and Culture of Southeast Texas & The Upper Gulf Coast and The Division of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Relations is hosting a screening of Beaumont’s Black History in Moving Pictures.
