Following two years of virtual ceremonies due to the pandemic, the celebrated its member's works and the Newsmaker of the Year at its held in the ballroom of the MCM Elegante hotel on June 3.
Beaumont Mayor Robin Mouton was announced as this year’s Newsmaker of the Year. Four other Newsmaker of the Year finalists were honored at the event, including David Green Jr. Georgine Guillory, Judith Smith and ذكذكتسئµ University President Dr. Jaime R. Taylor.
Selected among professionals in the fields of newspapers, television, radio, magazines, public relations and websites, ذكذكتسئµ University and affiliated organizations were among the hundreds of winners collectively honored, with 225 awards announced:
