Fundraiser at Jason’s Deli for Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum
On Tues., July 23, from 5 – 10 p.m., there will be a fundraiser at Jason’s Deli, 535 N. Dowlen Rd, in Beaumont for the Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum. Jason’s Deli will donate 15% of all sales from people who announce they are eating to support Spindletop Gladys City Boomtown Museum.
The money from the fundraiser will go for the upkeep of the buildings and collections, museum programs, special events and more. Specifically, the museum is raising money to redo the sides of all the buildings. Each building will cost $16,000-$35,000. When completed, it will ensure the longevity of the collections by giving them a better environment.
