“We are grateful to Dr. and Mrs. Rose for their generosity and support of our department and students. The awards will be presented annually at our last dance concert of the academic year recognizing two dancers,” said Golden Wright, chair of the Department of Theatre & Dance.
Rose is an honor graduate of ذكذكتسئµ University, and is a retired orthodontist. He participated in the Student Honor Court and other ذكذكتسئµ University organizations, as well as previously serving as the president of the ذكذكتسئµ University Alumni Association.
In addition to the newly created dance awards, the couple established the Aaron Rose Award in 1973 in honor of Rose’s father, a prominent Beaumont businessman. The award is presented annually to the outstanding graduate of the School of Business. The couple also supports the Houston Methodist Hospital Society for Leading Medicine and the Platinum ذكذكتسئµ with emphasis on the Department of Cardiology.
