Grimskull
Grimskull is a comic written and illustrated by Hailey Kimler. The story is set in a fantasy world where the three protagonists Arkadi, Menodora, and Eravae happen to meet in a tavern by chance and Eravae hires the two on the spot after seeing their combat prowess firsthand. The intent is to be able to tell a story that is entertaining to the reader. This thesis consists of nine 9” x 6” inch pages contained in a comic book with three 11” x 17” character turnarounds, as well as three 18” x 24” inch pages from the comic printed as posters. Grimskull uses traditional sketches on paper that are then transferred to a digital drawing program and expanded upon with linework and coloring. This thesis represents the total knowledge gained from the classes taught at ذكذكتسئµ University regarding a BFA Degree in Studio Art with a Concentration in Drawing.
