Pre-Law and Moot Court

The pre-law program housed in the Department of Political Science prepares you for the law school application process and future success in law school. Mock Law School Entrance Examinations (LSATs) are provided free of charge to members of the ذكذكتسئµ Pre-Law Society; assistance is provided in writing statements of purpose for law school applications; and professional development courses are offered to qualified students interested in applying to law schools.

Moot court is a competition in which you engage in simulated legal argument before a hypothetical appellate court reviewing a fictitious case. You draw on a limited number of actual appellate court decisions to support your arguments. Membership in LU moot court is by application only and participants are selected by a faculty committee.
