Technical Reports

The CST-LU series is open for all researchers affiliated with Computer Science Department, ذكذكتسئµ University. There is no particular review process for the publications. However, each report has to be approved by the leader of the research group in which the work has been done, or by a professor of a department belonging to Computer Science Department.

Instructions For Authors

Submitting a paper for publication:

Before submitting the request for publishing a Technical Report you should prepare the abstract of the Technical Report in ASCII format and the Technical Report in PostScript/PDF format. Then you should send them to Technical Report's Managing Editor. The Managing Editor will then verify the information that you provided and assign the Technical Report number to your request.

Format of CSTR-LU submissions: 

  • Paper size is 'Letter'
  • Left, right, top and bottom margins should not be smaller than 1 inch
  • A font size of 11 points is recommended.
  • The title page of the report must clearly state the author's affiliation with Computer Science Department (the format for title page can be obtained from the Technical Report Managing Editor).
  • The report will be given the standard Computer Science Department report layout, including the Computer Science Department logo and the logos of ذكذكتسئµ University.

Distribution
All Technical Reports from Computer Science Department are accessible on the World Wide Web. A small number of hardcopy reprints is also made, but the World Wide Web is considered to be the main distribution media.

Copyright
Computer Science Department does not claim any copyright for the Technical Reports. The author keeps the full copyright for the paper, and is thus free to transfer the copyright to a publisher if the paper is accepted for publication elsewhere. When a technical report is submitted for publication elsewhere, a notice about this will be added to the electronically distributed version. When a technical report is published elsewhere, the electronically distributed version will be replaced by a reference to the published version.
