The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics at ذكذكتسئµ University offers two concentrations. The General track is best suited for someone who likes mathematics and wants a degree in the field but is perhaps simultaneously studying another discipline. This track requires a minor. The Mathematics Education track is best suited for you if you are preparing to teach mathematics at the secondary level in public or private schools. Highly coordinated with the College of Education, this track concludes with student teaching and teaching certification.
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics at ذكذكتسئµ University offers five concentrations. The General concentration offers the most flexibility and is appropriate for those who are undecided or studying another field simultaneously. The Applied concentration is best suited for those planning on going into business, industry, government or graduate school in applied areas. The Mathematics Education concentration is best suited for those preparing to teach mathematics at the secondary level in the public or private schools. Highly coordinated with the College of Education, this track concludes with student teaching and teaching certification. The Theoretical concentration is best suited for those planning to attend graduate school in mathematics in areas such as algebra, analysis or topology. Finally, the Statistics concentration is best suited for those planning to work in industry in the area of statistics, to pursue a career as an actuary or to attend graduate school in either statistics or actuarial fields.
